Overview

Luke Biscan is an Australian singer-songwriter raised in Bristol, UK, after his father — Mike Biscan — left a career in music to become a missionary.

After growing up in that world, Biscan later left the church and moved to Geelong — his father’s hometown — to give music a proper go. Since then, he’s been playing shows and putting songs out.

His debut album Biscoffi arrives in September 2026.

BIO

Raised in Bristol, UK, his upbringing was shaped by a very different path — his father, Mike Biscan, had stepped away from a successful Australian music career to become a missionary. Music was present, but it wasn’t the direction laid out in front of him.

That changed later.

After leaving the church, Biscan moved back to Australia — to Geelong, his father’s hometown — to give music a proper go. What followed was a slow build: playing shows, putting songs out, and figuring it out as he went.

His work leans alt-folk — guitar and harmonica, with a strong focus on lyric and storytelling.

Recent releases including “Perfect Blue” and “Nothing To Do With Us” have begun to build momentum, both locally and online, pointing toward a larger body of work.

That body of work is Biscoffi — Biscan’s upcoming album, due September 2026 — a record that brings together years of writing into a single, cohesive statement.

With a UK upbringing and an Australian base, the project sits between two worlds — and as the album approaches, there is a growing sense that it may begin to travel.
